ILLUSTRATION, CHARACTER DESIGN

I collaborated with the Pittsburgh Pirates and BIG Creative to bring an imaginative children’s book and an accompanying drone show to life. Centered around the Pirates' mascot, the Jolly Roger, we introduced a youth-friendly version of the character named Roger. We crafted a 20-page, full-color illustrated book that tells the story of Roger’s exciting adventures as he visits PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. In addition to the book, BIG Creative and Sky Elements produced an immersive drone show featuring hundreds of drones, narration, sound effects, and a complementary digital storybook. This new character is poised to become a key part of the Pirates’ marketing and storytelling for years to come.
